Regional Training Center Kilinochchi
Welcome to the Kilinochchi Regional Training Centre, an integral part of the National Institute of Social Development, strategically located at the Kilinochchi Old District Secretariat. Our center is dedicated to providing education, training, and research in the field of social services, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of life in our communities.
The Regional Centre for Social Work, Training, Research and Field Learning is located Old Secretariat Office, Kilinochchi. Kilinochchi regional Centre was established in 2016 with the objective of expanding the educational and training programmes for the North Eastern Province. Several Diploma Courses and other in-service trainings are conducted at this Centre.
Beginning: Opened on January 30th, 2016, by Hon. S.B. Dissanayaka (M.P), Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare, along with the esteemed presence of Hon. Ranjan Ramanayake (M.P), Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare, and Hon. Vijayakala Maheshwaran (M.P), State Minister of Child Affairs. This initiative was guided by Mr. Mahinda Senevirathne, Secretary, Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare, and Dr. Riddley Jayasinghe, the Director-General of the National Institute of Social Development.
Facilities: Situated in the District Secretariat Building, our center boasts an office, two classrooms, and a small dormitory. These facilities are designed to facilitate effective learning and collaboration.

Leadership programs, group counseling, counseling for drug users, and various short-term training programs.
Publicity Creation
Publicity creation, job market activities, and interviews for language programs.
Coordination Activities
Regular meetings, coordination activities, and participation in Sramadana activities.
