Site Visit by the Members of Standing Committee of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (SCAQA)

On July 17th, 2024, members of the Standing Committee of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (SCAQA), accompanied by Ministry officials, visited the National Institute of Social Development (NISD). The purpose of this visit was to provide an opportunity for the SCAQA members to inspect the facilities provided by the Degree Awarding Institute.

The Director General of NISD presented the current state of the institute to the gathering and highlighted several key aspects. This included an overview of the educational programs offered, recent achievements, ongoing projects, and future plans aimed at enhancing the institute’s quality and reach.

During the visit, the SCAQA members toured various facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and student support services. They engaged in discussions with faculty members to gain insights into the educational environment and the resources available.

This visit marks a significant step towards further strengthening the standards of the NISD and ensuring that it continues to provide top-tier education and training for future social work professionals.
